Hi there,
I’m Tasha, a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula serving the El Paso area.
I’ve lived all over the country, and the world. Hence the wandering roots.
This is my journey to becoming a doula…..
As an active duty Army medic I received my National Emergency Medical Technician license, And solidified my passion for healing & helping others
After my military time I transitioned to a bridge program for paramedics to RN. Somewhere in between clinicals and life, we received orders to Germany. Bringing my studies to a pause.
I decided to use my previous education and passion for helping/healing, in order to train and certify as a birth and postpartum doula.
Vowing to support and empower birthing parents during their most vulnerable times. To help them make informed, educated decisions based on evidence, in order to advocate for themselves.
When my personal birth experience was taken off course from what I expected, I realized how important and invaluable having a doula present could be.
After a few years of traveling Europe as an active duty army family, we returned to the USA and have put down roots in El Paso Texas.
I’m excited to serve this community full of rich culture. And looking forward to our new adventures here in the Sun City.
